Laboratorie-regler
Laboratory rules:
- Nothing is as easy as it looks
- Everything takes longer than tyou think
- In any scientific endeavour, anything that can go wrong will go wrong
- If several things can go wrong, the one that will cause most damage accurs
- If nothing can go wrong, it will anyway
- If you circumvent all possible ways you think a procedure can go wrong, then a new one – unprepared for – will promptly develope
- Left to themselves, things go from bad to worse
- If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something
- Nature always sides with the hidden flaw
- It is impossible to make a thing foolproof, begause fools are so ingenious
- And the most important law of thermodynamics: Things get worse under pressure!
